IMP C MAXIMIANVS AVG Radiate bust of Maximian to left, wearing lion skin over left shoulder and holding club over right. Rev. HERCVLI INVICTO AVGG / S Hercules standing left, holding club and Victory on globe. Bastien 190. RIC 370 var. (different bust type). Rare and unusually nice. An attractive example with a particularly impressive portrait. Extremely fine.
